Diamond Kites is the new project from prolific songwriter Jeff Klemm (of Maid Myriad) and nationally renowned producer/engineer Nathan Doutt (ex Tweaktronic.) Adding touring road-dog bassist Mario Tonathy (Maid Myriad) and powerhouse drummer Mike Karl brings a whole new element of focused songwriting and immersive performance experience. Using The Letters back catalog as a starting point, Diamond Kites have released four power pop singles earning accolades from the Akron Beacon Journal calling Diamond Kites "Melodic, Radio-Ready Rock." The singles showcase the outfits versatility bending and blending genres. From the catchy guitar rock of "All Mine" to the can't-get-out-of-your-head synth driven pop of "The Way You Say It.” Comfortably switching gears, the Minus the Bear influenced "Seventeen" revisits the youth of Klemm's days cutting his teeth as a young musician in love at a local (now defunct) all ages club in Downtown Akron called The Orange Street. "Not Giving Up" is an arena rock song that has quickly grown as a crowd favorite. Currently working on new material, the band’s concert experience implements a video component furthering their quest for content.
