Jaek DeLarge is the hip-hop alter ego of multi-hyphenate Canadian artist Jason Strachan. Growing up in Toronto, Ontario, music became an escape from the pressures of poverty and rising gang culture in the city's West end.
Between 2011 & 2013 he released three independent albums alongside friend and close collaborator Don Fredericko, which caught the attention of major labels. After opting not to sign a deal early on, They'd go on to establish themselves as 'go-to guys' for up and coming creatives from Toronto through JustOverMusic.
Over the next three years his versatility as a songwriter, filmmaker and creative entrepreneur have allowed Jaek DeLarge to collaborate with some of his city's most promising acts such as Jsoul and Cola H. of the Juno nominated PHI collective. In 2018 he released his 4th studio album D.L.R.G which was followed up by his 'Blanco' collection shortly afterwards.
