Stewart Michael Arp was raised in the small farm town of Paris, Illinois. Both a talented singer and actor, Arp received a performance scholarship to Millikin University’s School of Music, where he spent time refining his musical craft, sound, and performance.
In July of 2016, Stewart Arp was discovered by producer Joshua Rumer, CEO of Invengo Productions based in Austin TX. Together, they released Arp's first single, "Coffee". After the success of his song “Coffee”, Arp later that year released his first album "Lost at Sea", through the Invengo Production. The album was debuted at the South by Southwest Music Festival (SXSW) in Austin, TX. Despite the success of his songs “Coffee” and “Lost at Sea”, Arp parted ways with the label.
His song Lost at Sea, found the ears of Canadian Advertising Company “John Street” who hired him to write, and record the song for their upcoming ad campaign with “President's Choice”. Arp later released their song "Light up the Dark" as a single.
Now based in Champaign, Illinois, Arp has been playing around the local clubs and bars with a live band titled “Stewart Arp and Company”. The band recently opened for "Joywave"and played at “Summercamp On The Road.
Arp recently recorded with producer Grey Taxon at Gravity Studios in Chicago, Illinois. Arp is featuring "Micah Tryba" former finalist on Season 12 of “The Voice”. The release date of this song has not yet been disclosed.
