Born in Chicago, David began acting and making music under the name of "D Lo" in 2012. Following several mixtapes, he officially changed his stage name to David Lopez and released his first single Champ in 2014.
In 2015 Lopez founded Passion Park Entertainment and began to release new projects. His first release was the music video for Lonely Days (feat. Drumlord), which would turn to be the lead single off of his debut LP. On October 27th, 2015 Lopez's debut album, Preacher's Son, was released to the public via Passion Park Entertainment.
In total, Lopez has released 5 albums and many more singles. Starting on January 1st, 2021 with My Biz, Lopez began releasing new singles weekly.
