Slowly Slowly was born in a label machinery factory in outer East Melbourne. Using the vacant front office and the dispatch area, founding members Ben Stewart and Alex Quayle crafted a make shift home studio and spent countless nights crafting their own brand of unabashed guitar driven rock between skating over broken palettes in the car park.
Soon after upgrading the recording environment their first single was released in late 2015. Slowly Slowly have since roped in two members for their live show Patrick Murphy (drums) and Albert Doan (guitar). Their first LP Chamomile (2016) was an 8 track taste of the dynamic interplay between fragile story telling and cathartic anthemic rock.
The band has been busy touring ever since and shared the stage with heavy hitter such as DMA’s, The Bennies, Luca Brasi, Ceres and DZ Deathrays. Slowly Slowly's sophomore album is due for release in early 2018.
