Going to college in North Carolina in 2014 exposed her to southern roots music. It was here she started to pursue her songwriting more seriously. A roamer, Goldblum has travelled around the world, immersing herself in many traditions and arranging her songs for everything from jazz quartet to voice and Irish bodhrán. It was her relocation in 2016 to Derry, Northern Ireland, however, that proved most fortuitous. Initially travelling for study, she quickly became immersed in the burgeoning jazz and electronic scenes of her adopted home, finding it “an incomparably friendly city to collaborate and help each other grow.”
‘Light Shadow/ Boom Boom;’ is a collection of songs written around the world, yet arranged in the burgeoning jazz and electronic scene of Northern Ireland, where Goldblum has spent the past 2 years working and collaborating with up-and-coming artists.
