PORK PIE HAT mostly plays as trio with E-Piano/Synth, Drums and Guitar/Guitarsynth, so when You hear “bass”, the lines are created by E-Piano/Synth or the Guitar Synth.
All our recordings are live cuts, straight from the Session room mixing console to Nuendo Live2 and later to Cubase Pro for a final mix. No cuts or overdubs.
The trio set breeds limitations, but we love the freedom and option of fast response to each other. Improvisation is predominant in our performances.
All three members of PORK PIE HAT are dedicated sound freaks, so we love to work mostly in the studio and enjoy the technical environment.
