Zohara was born in Jerusalem to a Mexican father and a Persian mother. She was raised in Queens, New York, in an observant and somewhat insulated religious neighborhood.
Her passion and escape was always singing and writing, but she was never able to fully explore that growing up. She met Gabe Saporta who helped her move to Los Angeles and become one of the first TAG Music artists in 2017. After honing her chops with some of the biggest writers and producers in LA, Zohara has found her voice as an artist. “Remember” was one of the first songs she wrote and after almost two years it finally found the right home with Gryffin. “It was challenging for me to sit on a song that I loved for so long and not put it out, but now I see that the universe was guiding the entire process and I couldn’t be happier,” says Zohara. “Remember” is an introduction to the 20 year old with a once in a lifetime voice who is destined to have an important career. Look out for new music in 2019.
