JC Campbell- drums/percussion/some singing

Joe Kessler- fiddle
Formed in the spring of 2006, Johnny and Sam recruited drummer/percussionist JC Campbell for a string of formative, experimental, long, Sunday evening bar gigs as S. Reid & the Riot Act and billed themselves as "modular bluegrass" or "un-pure bluegrass" to describe the sounds of Caribbean-inspired, rootsy original music blended with re-imagined traditional fiddle tunes... Aaron Goff joined in for several of these early gigs and the band's sound became more cohesive with the recording of Dreaming the Life, in 2009. Joe Kessler joined the group in early 2010 and the band, featuring Tim Kelly on dobro for several timely dates, and now complete, recorded its second full-length record, A Slow Burn in 2011.
New single "Grow Up Forever "is set for late summer/early fall release 2020.
