Platinum-selling Country star and 2018 multiple CCMA Award winner for ‘Male Artist of the Year’ and ‘Video of the Year’, Dallas Smith has “blazed a path across genres in Canadian music” (CBCMusic) for nearly two decades and fans continue to prove they’ll follow him wherever he wants to go.
On the heels of a career-defining album (Side Effects) earning critical acclaim, commercial success including four consecutive #1 singles and numerous accolades, Smith continues to dominate uncharted territory and becomes the first and only Canadian country artist in the Nielsen BDS era, to have four consecutive #1 singles from the same album, topping the three from Shania Twain’s “Come On Over”. Most recently, Smith’s latest single “Make 'Em Like You” topped the Canadian Country Radio charts, making it his sixth #1 and fifth consecutive #1 single. Smith now has the most number one songs by a Canadian Country artist in the Nielsen BDS era, surpassing Shania Twain’s five. He also now has the record for the most one-week spins for a song at the Country format by a Canadian artist.
In March of 2018, Smith teamed up with fellow multi-platinum Country superstar Terri Clark to deliver the electrifying Top 5 single/duet “One Drink Ago”. Smith joined Clark, twice on the iconic Grand Ole Opry stage to perform the hit single.
Piling on the accolades, Smith was the 2015 JUNO Award winner for Country Album of the Year (Lifted), and the CCMA Award winner for Album of the Year (Lifted).
