Taking inspiration from both female artists and novels alike, she has explored the depths of lyricism in her breadth of expressive material. Kendall’s lyrics are reflective on her life experience, and prove to be the perfect compliment to her haunting melodies and electronic production. Songwriting legends such as Stevie Nicks and Fiona Apple proved formative for her lyricism and her soaring vocals have been compared to Kate Bush.
