Symphony North is the brainchild of Peter Orullian, former lead vocalist for international rock and metal legends Heir Apparent and Fifth Angel. After words of personal encouragement from Paul O’Neill, the late founder and composer of the multi-platinum-selling Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO), Orullian has written a fully-realized 24-song holiday rock opera in the TSO tradition. The Bell Ringer is a Christmas story throwback in which the best gift is the gift of self. The album is co-produced by Casey Bates (Portugal the Man.) Featured artists on The Bell Ringer include former TSO recording and touring members: Tim Hockenberry (also an America’s Got Talent semi-finalist), Michael Lanning, Jody Ashworth, and Val Vigoda. In addition, The Bell Ringer features members of the Grammy-nominated band Dream Theater--vocalist James Labrie, and keyboardist Jordan Rudess (voted by Music Radar Magazine as "Best Keyboardist of All Time")--whose Breaking The Fourth Wall went to #1 on the Billboard charts.
