Jake Inzerra is free spirited and all attitude - a pop artist whose stylistic melodies and catchy hooks demand the spotlight almost as much as his 6 inch stilettos.
Originally from the small town of Shelton, CT, Inzerra was bullied by homophobic classmates. He found acceptance in the community by auditioning for local theatre productions, where he immediately discovered his love for entertainment. After graduating high school, Inzerra began taking the train into New York City to study dance at Broadway Dance Center - "Every day, I woke up at 4AM, and I never rolled out of bed. It was never a chore. I was determined. I was ready to go, ready to take on the world."
Inzerra officially moved to The Big Apple after completing his intensive training program at BDC. Some of the producers he has worked with include Mikaelin 'Blue' Bluespruce, Akira Shelton, and Roman Molino Dunn. Inzerra has made it his mission to be (in his words) "...the artist that I never saw growing up. A flamboyant, unapologetic, confident male singer. Had I seen that when I was younger, being gay in a small town wouldn't have been nearly as difficult because I would've had someone to look up to, someone I could see myself in. That's the artist I want to be for my generation."
