After just a few short months playing original music in public, Stout opened for an influence of his, Allen Stone, at Brooklyn Bowl.
Now in collaboration with producer Cale Hawkins, Stout has begun releasing his first studio works. Exploring themes of the highs and lows of intimacy and togetherness in his music, the writing and production techniques follow; all instruments and vocals are played between Stout and Hawkins, and vocals are recorded in a repurposed broom closet to make listeners feel all that much closer.
