Anemic Royalty is a garage rock band from Louisville, Ky. Since their formation in 2014 they have been hanging out in basements, back yards, vans, and stages, writing and performing loud melodic rock songs.
It all started back in 2013 with two shaggy haired weirdos, Jeremy Rochman (Vox/Guitar) and Seamus Coyle (Guitar). They didn’t know much about each other but apparently all it took was a couple of out of tune jam sessions for them to start their first band“sucker punch”. After a couple of birthday parties worth of Nirvana covers, Jeremy’s bud Oden calls him up and says “yo, I got this bass for Christmas can a come jam?” Then there were three. Miles was the last to join, didn’t really practice, he just could play the drums one day, and that became what we know now as Anemic Royalty. Their first year they played shows wherever they could. About a year in they went into the studio to record their first Demo “baby fang”. Following that release they began playing more shows, writing more songs, until finally it was time to start their new project. To do this the way they wanted, they started working with musician and producer Scott Carney and Dave Chale. They laid down some tracks and after months of work they released their first single “Better Hands” Just in time for their first sold out crowd at Headliners Musical Hall with non other than White Reaper. Shortly after that they released their second single “Fire + Ice“. The full record was released March 31st 2018.
