Born among Denver's pioneering indie-electro acts, Pan Astral began as a basement collaboration and has grown into an art-rock/electro-pop force whose performances have been called "transcendent." The band produces a melody-rich, original sound that combines new wave and dream-pop with red-blooded indie rock.
Pan Astral layers harmony, hooks and ambience over a thick bed of heavy dance grooves. Soaring melodies, dreamlike lyrics, breakbeats and lush soundscapes define the band’s cathartic sound. Pan Astral incorporates unorthodox light shows, projection mapping onto handmade sets, and live art into their explosive live shows. Pan Astral has shared the stage with Walk The Moon, Lotus, Flobots, El Ten Eleven, Pacific Air, American Royalty, Jamestown Revival, Sorne, Motive, and more. The band has collaborated live and in the studio with members of Lotus, Signal Path, and Ravi Shankar disciple Paul Livingstone. Pan Astral is Gabriel Otto, Tad Lusk, and Jeff Peterson.
