CASHÆ is a Producer DJ duo from Miami known for their “TRAPICAL” sound - a unique blend of Pop, EDM, Trap, and Latin Caribbean influences.
Alex Abomb grew up in Puerto Rico and Joseph is of Cuban descent. Together, they formed CASHAE in 2016 after meeting in music business school. They quickly discovered their ability to weave together genres using electronic and live instrumentation and coined it "trapical". Soon after their first independent singles landed on top blogs and playlists, they began producing originals and remixes for Sony, Atlantic, and Roc Nation artists. In 2018, they teamed up with Tep No to release their song ‘Need to Know’ feat. Toian. In May 2019, they scored the HBO Film 'Make Love Great Again.' In June, their release ‘Endless Summer’ feat. Kiddo AI, debuted on New Music Friday in 13 countries and dozens of top playlists, reaching over 1 million streams in one month and landing on MTV. This momentum led Music-News.com to name them "Miami's fastest growing and most sought-after production outfits." With fans in every country, CASHAE’s Trapical Miami Vibe is proving to be a refreshing, global sound that appeals to a diverse audience. Undefined by genres, they hope to touch as many people by sharing uplifting, universal dance music. Their most recent musical collabs include artists Tep No, The Spill Canvas, Johann Vera, Lost Kings, Jocelyn Alice, Cris Cab, Helen Tess, Kiddo AI, Denzel Curry, Tory Lanez, Emily Brimlow, Justin Love, SMLE, and Kevin Gates.
