Idolising Nova are a 3-piece indie pop band from Peterborough, England who formed in 2016.
Jack Fulton Smith (bass & lead vocals), Kris Lee (guitar) and Kyle O’Sullivan (drums & backing vocals) played their first gig in June 2016 at The Voodoo Lounge in Stamford, near Peterborough with the 120 tickets selling out well in advance.
Since then their music has been played on BBC Radio 2 by Janice Long, Radio X, ITV’s ‘This Morning’, Kerrang Radio, BBC Radio Wales, BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire and more!
Alex Baker from Kerrang Radio said ‘I came across these guys a few weeks ago and I’ve just fallen in love with them! They are writing sick, timeless tunes and it’s very exciting’.
Live shows of note include supporting The Vamps on their Night And Day Tour in Amsterdam, Paris & Cologne, 3 sold-out hometown shows, a headline slot on the Saloon Stage at Y Not Festival (2018), a show exclusive to BBC staff at the Broadcasting House in London and regular shows all over the UK with touring bands/artists.
