Rich Jones is a prolific Chicago artist, community figure, and veteran of the cultural scene. Jones began in 2010 with the formation of his group Second City Citizens.
Collectively, they went on to found what is now known as All Smiles, a monthly music showcase that looks to bring together the brightest young talent with Chicago stalwarts that’s been going for over 5 years. Rich’s solo career began with a series of well-received projects rooted in Hip Hop, with dashes of Soul, R&B and Pop. These experimentations came to a head at the beginning of 2017 with his lush pop EP VEGAS. The project was produced by Ryan Lofty, an accomplished commercial producer and Dream Works composer, who helped Rich fully shift his sound towards the realm of the melodic. The release show for the project sold out Lincoln Hall in Chicago, and since then he has been featured in The Chicago Tribune and on NPR's Weekend Edition. A rising star in Chicago, Rich is renowned for his fantastic full-band concerts, a tireless work ethic and his passion to build a stronger creative community in the city for now and the future.
