Bradley Hartman (Guitar, Bass)
Jonathan Poorman (Guitar, Bass)
Christopher Mundy (Drums/Percussion)
The band originally contained just two members, Gienow and Hartman. Band-less, the two set out to record a demo album at The Sugar Tank, a local recording studio where Gienow was employed as studio manager and staff engineer. As recording progressed, the two began the search for additional band members. Before long, co-workers Poorman and Mundy joined the roster.
Nearly York released its debut effort, the 11 song album “Time Alone,” on June 1st, 2018. Shows at Lancaster’s Tellus 360 and several festival events in Harrisburg helped Nearly York break into the local music scene, and the band ended a successful first year of performing with a brief winter tour spanning across Eastern Pennsylvania and into Maryland.
Since then, the guys have been busier than ever in 2019 while writing, recording, and producing a collection of new songs - all while stringing together nearly twenty live shows in the first six months of the year.
