As a teenager Corey embraced street culture and Houston's “chopped and screwed” music scene. Eventually he realized that even if he gained all of it, it wouldn’t change the pain, poverty or hopelessness that his family and neighborhood dealt with on a daily basis. It was at this moment Corey decided to trust God and in 2010 he started “Frontline Media Group”.
In the summer of 2013 he independently released his debut album, “Grace Love Mercy”, which debuted at #39 on the Gospel Billboard Charts. On December 18th, 2015 he released his sophomore album entitled “Today, Tomorrow, Forever”, which peaked at #11 on the iTunes Rap/Hip-Hop chart and ranked #16 on the Billboard “Heatseeker” chart.
