Salvatore Mundi

  1. 1.
    No More
New Jersey’s Salvatore Mundi makes his presence—and incredible talents—known on his dynamic and genre-defying debut single “No More.”
While it’s undoubtedly steeped in Hip-Hop, the track bounces with a swagger that’s equally indebted to the more atmospheric-sounding R&B. Producer Nuabyss blends heavy trap drums with ethereal synths and sounds for an instrumental that perfectly sets up Mundi for his vocally impressive turn throughout “No More.”
The single, which is a loosie and not affiliated with any upcoming projects, kicks off on the R&B tip with smooth crooning from the Jersey bred artist before shifting into a more rap-heavy cut. Lyrically, he dives into being on the wrong side of a relationship—and realizing that he’s at his breaking point, deciding that he’s through playing games.
The Jamaican-born 23 year old grew up listening to Soul, Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B, Reggae, and Electro-Pop music. He has been highly influenced by Hip-Hop and R&B acts such as Tupac, Eminem, Kanye West, Alicia Keys, and Lauryn Hill. Mundi developed ambitions to be a professional singer-songwriter and record producer in the sixth grade. "Back when I was in middle school, my friends and I would meet up after class to record music; my job was to write the hooks." He was able to capture the attention of Grammy awarded engineer and board member, David Ivory, at the age of 17– who continues to shape the creative and recording ability of the up and coming multi-talented artist.
