Her passion for vintage synths, drum machines and gothic music can be heard in the dark undertones of her songs, as well as nuances of The Cure, New Order and early Gary Numan. Although she puts great effort into maintaining her own signature sound, she admits to being influenced by Pink Floyd, The Church and The Beatles. Her music is catchy, non-pretentious contemporary synthpop with the warmth of the analogue age.
The debut E.P. 'Factory Reset' was released in 2013, arousing the interest and support of music lovers, online music magazines, blog reviewers, indie musicians and internet radio in the UK, Australia & USA. The title track was featured on the 'Bluetown Electronica' compilation.
Synthie dB Shock composed the theme music for 'Synthtopia' radio show, wrote an instrumental for a fan and collaborated with Real Life/Alien Skin keyboardist George Pappas on his song 'Tomorrow’s Dead'. The singles ’Window To Life’ and ’Retro Planet’ were released in 2019, with more music on its way.
