Initially a solo project by guitarist Caleb Hulin, west coast indie pop band Wylma released its debut single “Picture” in 2016.
A year later, friend and producer Aaron Brohman heard demos from Caleb and immediately called him to jump on board and brought with him, Jace Fay (Vocals/Synth), Jonathan Hernandez (Guitar) and Austin Mitchell (Drums). The previously solo project relaunched as trio releasing its sophomore single “Heartwall” which was later followed by self titled EP “WYLMA”. The band came back 6 months later releasing their latest lovesick single “Tether”.
@thepeopleofsacramento - “Wylma’s sound pulls from indie pop influences such as COIN and the 1975 while also incorporating darker shoegaze elements in the production.”
