Six Thousand Miles

  1. 1.
    Dark Sun
Almost 20 years after their previous band, Gray Eclipse, seized to exist, childhood friends Michael Starr and Jacob Gorban reunited their musical efforts.
Now, despite being eight time zones and Six Thousand Miles apart, their renewed collaboration bore its first fruit with the release of the single “Dark Sun.”
Influenced over the years by the best that the progressive rock music had to offer, from fusion through the giants of 70ies to modern progressive metal, this song incorporates all of that in a condensed format. With imagery inspired by the summer storms of the Canadian prairies, the lyrics have a deeper meaning, left for the listener to discover.
