Rachel McIntyre Smith

  1. 1.
    High School Reunion
Rachel McIntyre Smith has what it takes to become a country star in 2020. She not only writes her own music, but also developed her brand, edits all of her videos for social media, and designs all of her own merchandise.
Despite having a small following online, her posts have gained attention from well-known artists including Brandi Carlile, Lauren Daigle, Ingrid Michaelson, Ingrid Andress, Tenille Arts, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Maggie Miles, and Madison Kozak. Her brand and her music make for a powerful combination that leaves a lasting impression.
After writing the light-hearted tune "The Kitten Song" (released in 2018), Smith crafted a 7-state concert tour of cat cafes to help raise money for animal rescue. After 3 successful sold out shows in Chattanooga, Nashville, and Birmingham, the coronavirus cut this tour short. However, this didn't stop Smith from sharing her music. She immediately launched a daily video series called "QuaranTUNES", which was featured on multiple Knoxville media outlets including WBIR's "Live at Five at Four".
Drawing inspiration from Kacey Musgraves, Linda Ronstadt, Taylor Swift, and Carole King, this Oliver Springs, Tennessee native blends country & vintage pop with her signature clever & catchy lyrics. Her dream is for a group of moms to choose one of her songs to belt out at a karaoke bar. Please listen to her music and follow her on social media so she won’t look like a failure at her high school reunion.
