Brooklyn-born, Barbados-raised rapper Haleek Maul returns with the In Permanence EP.
In Permanence finds Maul at the peak of his powers conjuring intense, confessional lyrics over towering and richly detailed music. The record opens with an introduction by poet and musician Saul Williams, features additional vocals from New York singer-songwriter Embaci, a Non Worldwide affiliate, and includes production from XL signing GILA (Critical Mass), D Tiberio of Timetable Records (Blessai) plus Haleek Maul himself.
Haleek Maul first surfaced in 2012 aged just 16 with the Oxyconteen EP. An album with Chicago production duo Supreme Cuts titled Chrome Lips followed, the solo Prince Midas mixtape, plus collaborations with Ryan Hemsworth, Le1f, Forest Swords & Black Noise among others. Haleek Maul - now 21-years-old - is back in the studio and will be releasing more material soon.
