In 2007, Nerone moved to Florence, Italy where he attended the Conservatory Luigi Cherubini studying Jazz Music and graduated with honors.
In 2010, he recorded his first CD with a collection of cover songs from artists including A. Jobim, Vinicius de Moraes, Toquinho, Chico Buarque and Tim Maia.
Renan formed the ''Renan Nerone Trio''. They performed in several places around Italy, including Rome(Lazio), Pisa(Toscany), Nardo(Lecce-Puglia) and Florence(Toscany). At the Sport Arena in Budapest, Renan played the guitar for the "Let's Bridge" event with a crowd of more than 13,000 people.
On July 28 of 2013, Renan Nerone played in Copacabana at the city of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil for the World Youth Day. Around 3 million people attended the event with the presence of Pope Francis. The next year, Renan moved to Florida, USA, where he has been playing in different cities with well known musicians such as Jay Stollman, Wayne Perry (Mister Trombone), John Michalak, Yoel Hyman, Todd Hunter, Doug Carter, Jahzel Dotel and Eugene McBride.
On November 16th, 2017 Renan releases his new album ''TIMELINE''.
