ATTICA RAGE is a heavy rock band formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 2003, taking their name from a band that brothers Richie Rage & Jonny Parr had been in previously.
Debut album Ruin Nation was released in October 2008, with mastering by Ace of Skunk Anansie and artwork by iconic Motörhead artist Joe Petagno. Road Dog was released by Rocksector Records in April 2011 and re-released in May 2012 by Off Yer Rocka Recordings. Attica Rage also contributed a cover version of ‘Killer of Giants’ for an Ozzy Osbourne tribute album that year. December 2012 saw the release of third album 88MPH along with 2-disc DVD ‘Road Dog Forever’ - a feature-length concert and documentary film. Fourth album 'Warheads Ltd' was released in 2016. Various singles have been featured on Metal Hammer & Classic Rock cover-mount CDs; playlisted by Planet Rock & voted Classic Rock Magazine's ‘Track of the Day’. Albums have also been awarded Metal Hammer’s ‘Album of the Month’ and Total Rock’s ‘Album of the Week’.
Attica Rage have headlined shows &amp; tours in the UK &amp; Europe and supported Saxon, Skindred, British Lion, Diamond Head &amp; Armored Saint. Festival highlights have included Bloodstock Open Air, High Voltage, Hard Rock Hell, Hammerfest, Metaldays (Slovenia); HRH Road Trip (Ibiza), opening for the likes of Black Label Society, Testament, Iced Earth, Killing Joke &amp; sharing bills with Judas Priest, Slash, Down and WASP, to name a few. Attica Rage also performed at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods.<br>
