Quiet Hounds’ first-ever performance in 2011 organically drew an underground scene of 400+ attendees. Dressed in latent leather dog masks, they delivered a late 1800s inspired immersive fan experience built by hand. Since its inception, the band has been unifying local musicians, artists, dancers, writers, real estate moguls, chefs, charities and small businesses in unique ways. “Quiet Hounds is about sharing an authentic experience with the world,” says the band. “We are so grateful to have been making music together for all this time and for the support of such a talented community of uncompromising artists and makers”
The group’s most recent endeavor, Everything Else is Noise (October 11, 2019) marks the sixth major release from this critically-acclaimed group. Everything Else is Noise is a cinematic soundscape that sends genres into oblivious collision at each turn, while never forgetting its melodic roots and simple, time-tested sensibilities. This is without a doubt a new high water mark in the evolution of Quiet Hounds, and bodes well for what’s to come for this beloved Atlanta band.
