Seunghee Lee was chosen as ‘Top 30 Classical Stars Under 30’ by San Francisco’s KDFC classical radio, upon the release of her debut album-Brava (2000). Her long-awaited second album-Embrace (2011) placed at #4 on Hong Kong's HMV Classical Charts and her independently released third album-Hidden Treasures (2013) climbed to # 2 on Hong Kong Records’ “Top 10 Classical Charts”. All of her albums were featured as "CD of the Week" in many classical radio stations around the world, including KDFC (San Francisco), WSCL (Maryland), Symphony 92.4 (Singapore) and Fine Music Radio (Cape Town), Classic FM Netherlands, among others.
Ms. Lee’s exploration into cinema music led to an unprecedented collaboration with the world-renowned Andrea Morricone, the composer of the timeless "Love Theme" from Cinema Paradiso. In a unique full-length concert, she appeared as the soloist with Maestro Morricone conducting several of the world-premiere arrangements which he orchestrated for Ms. Lee, including the "Love Theme" from Cinema Paradiso, Ennio Morricone’s Gabriel’s Oboe, Scott Joplin’s The Entertainer, Ryuichi Sakamoto’s Sheltering Sky and more...
