Ivan Campo's story begins in the year 2000 when the trio met in Preston studying contemporary music at UCLAN.
After graduating, the band started work on what would become their first EP 'Clippings 2' which was self released at the beginning of 2004. Drawing from influences that inspired their song writing (The Beatles, Marc Bolan, Nick Drake), the band have been crafting their distinct sound of alternative folk-pop ever since and have amassed a shelf's worth of EPs.
The Preston/Manchester based group have been seen by a range of audiences at festivals (Secret Garden Party, Wychwood, Kendal Calling, Beat-Herder), and venues across the UK - in 2008 the band were invited to support Shack on tour, and two 'one off' shows for The Pale Fountains at Liverpool Academy and The Shepherds Bush Empire.
After the release of their 2009 EP Super 7, the opening track The Great Procrastinator was used in an episode of E4's 'Skins', and the band received radio play from Bob Harris, Janice Long, (BBC Radio 2), Guy Garvey and Tom Robinson. They have also performed four live sessions for BBC 6 Music on Marc Riley's show.
