Hardkandy return with a brand new single 'Close Encounters' after over a 10 year hiatus. Vocals duties are beautifully delivered by the fantastic soulful newcomer Scarlett Fae.
Hardkandy aka Tim Bidwell has been busy as a producer since the last album, working with the likes of Lucy Rose, Matthew And The Atlas, Jack Watts, Kate Walsh and many more at his Brighton based Clockwork Owl Studio. However, inspired by the increasing number of fans on all streaming platforms, Tim thought it was time to dust off his Hardkandy shoes and gathered a squad of talented musicians to work on some new material.
Scarlett Fae is an uber talented young singer who Tim met through a vocal session. They struck up a fruitful working relationship and Scarlett features as a gospel BV singer on several tracks such as -

Scarlett is a solo artist in her own right with two singles 'Knew You' and brand new single 'Solace' out on all platforms. The later was produced by Tim Bidwell and co-written by the same team ( Chris Boot, Ben Daniel) that worked on 'Brief Encounters' .
