Being essentially unemployable after high school, he drifted West, spending time in Utah & Alaska, holding odd jobs & playing in local country bands to make ends meet, before settling in San Francisco where he taught himself how to make electronic music. Adopting oOoOO as a moniker (which he viewed as an anti-name signifying nothing but the freedom of being no one from nowhere), the music he uploaded to Myspace began appearing on the internet mix tapes of more well known artists like Salem in 2009. In 2010 he released an EP on Houston's Disaro Records, a 7" on Sweden's Emotion label, and in the fall, a 12" EP on the then new, but hotly tipped Triangle Records. Successful releases, oOoOO toured internationally to support them. In 2012 he released a follow up EP, again on Triangle Records. In order to maintain complete control over his music, oOoOO created the Nihjgt Feelings record label in 2013, with the backing of Kompakt Distribution (home to such labels as Modern Love & Spectral Sound). That same year, he released his debut LP "Without Your Love." "Faminine Mystique" - a collaborative 2xLP made with Islamiq Grrrls - will be his first official release in some years.
