“Welcome to my nest I'm the headmistress here
Submissive, meet my elite clientele

Play with us, scream with us 1, 3 or 4

We’ll have you begging for more…”
The opening lines of SCARLET’s debut single ‘Age of Seduction’ exemplify perfectly the dominant and complex identity of this new, fascinating hard working artist. A club scene where women are man-eating vampires who will finally out smart their clientele - a provocative backdrop where Scarlet personifies ideal power and leadership in an unequal, unfair world. Spawning a skull mask congruent with the genre, her choice of costuming goes way beyond aesthetic value and has multi-layered, poignant importance in today’s political climate. Atypical to the culture, Scarlet hits hard through a combative stage presence, alluring vocals and suggestive, mind-altering lyrics. And yet, this is a character who could be a refection of us all - the very real necessity to often wear a mask in every day life, but the permission to take it off too, and to not merely be seen, but truly heard. She will categorically refuse to apologise for true feelings, hide behind real events or deny fundamental, core values.
Scarlet vehemently owns her darkness, anger, power and voice - for her dark and vulnerable experiences were not endured in vein. No stranger to mental illness and care, she understands first hand what it is to be ‘locked away’ and medicated like an outcast in society.
