Originally writing in the comfort of his bedroom with just the four walls around him to judge, he first began to venture out after a fortuitous video was filmed by a close friend and uploaded onto YouTube. This led on to the demand for him to head out and start playing shows around the UK to his ever growing, painfully committed following. Jacko quickly caught the eye of French videographer Rod Maurice of Le Hiboo who invited him to Paris to headline the Café De Lanse, quickly followed by a short European tour.
Once back in the environment that his adventure began, Jacko self-released the ‘From Home‘ EP, limited to 500 copies and sold out in just a matter of days, more videos were recorded for his adoring fans on YouTube and after 12 months of playing live the time was right to focus this energy into his first ever proper physical release. From this he was then invited by James Blunt to open up his concert for him at the 5,500 capacity Brighton Centre as well as being invited to play at one of the worlds most prestigious rooms in London at the Royal Festival hall as a celebration of youth culture.
Jacko’s tour history includes performances with Chet Faker, James Blunt, Russian Red, Rachel Sermanni, SOAK, James Bay, Amber Run, Foxes, Paul Carrack and many more.
