It’s from a higher place and has a power of us. Like John Lennon said, music is more than wallpaper.
Rock music isn’t dead. It won’t die because it’s visceral, it’s raw and it’s imperfect just like us.
It’s loud and wild, it’s quite and gentle, it’s uncompromising and has conviction. It captures moments in our lives.
It’s about heartache, hope, pain and forgiveness, losing your way and finding yourself.
The songs I write are rock songs, they’re not trying to be anything other than what they are, they’re not designed, not smoothed out, they’re not for the breakfast table.
They’re trying to capture feelings, moments in words and a melody.
They’re not about you and they’re not about me, they’re about us.
This thing is bigger than you and me. I hope they mean something to you, I hope they mean enough that you would choose to share them with someone that means something to you.
