Mark G. Meadows is a jazz pianist, vocalist, composer, bandleader, music director,
teacher and actor who was awarded best album (To The People) and composer of 2016
as well as artist of the year in 2014 by the Washington City Paper. In 2018, he
performed, acted, and music directed Signature Theatre’s 2-week sold out run of
HittsvileUSA - Motown Cabaret and Creative Cauldron’s Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and
Grill. Meadows made his acting debut as the titular role in the Washington, D.C.,
premiere of the hit Broadway musical Jelly’s Last Jam at Signature Theatre in August of
2016. He Currently living between NYC and DC, Mark frequently tours the east coast
with his band and several other bands. Mark has appeared alongside Warren Wolf,
Bobby McFerrin, Kendrick Lamar, Renee Fleming, Kurt Elling, Nicholas Payton, and many
other prominent artists. He has headlined and has been a sideman at premier venues
including Jazz at Lincoln Center and Smalls Jazz Club in NYC, and Blues Alley, The
Strathmore, and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington,
D.C. He uses his artistry to bring forth a positive message of love, joy, and hope to his
