Key moments in his career really took shape once he recorded his first album "Side Effects" with notable producer Greig "OB" Session of The Hit Masterz. After the release, Joe was beckoned to LA to play the iconic Whisky a GOGO stage with violinist Christian Carroll who co-founded their new band, Atlas Star. From there, Joe was contacted by Al Gomes of Big Noise and was in contention for a Grammy nomination with the song "Thunder" from the "Side Effects" album. The ballot was cast for Best New Rock Artist and Best Rock Performance.
Furthermore, Joe and his wife Ryan have completed writing and published a novel, “Lumped Up: Dreams To Die For”, a half- fictional tale about a struggling musician with mental illness and alcoholism.
