KARLK (pronounced « Karlkey ») (aka Charles Perrono) is a 27 years old producer from the west of France.
He started his musical career with a drum kit gifted by his parents to him at the age of seven. He learned how to play guitar, piano and various instruments later in a self-educated way.
Discovering a passion for electronic music in his teenaged years, Charles started to explore electronic music in raves during the 2000’s. He first played techno music on vinyl in Britain, then, some years later in 2013, Charles followed his desires and began creating chiller sounds known today as deep house music.
Shortly after his first experiences with a digital production software, Charles was sharing his tracks across the board of online social networks.« Jeff », « What i Want », and « Daydreamer » both boast several million plays on Soundcloud and Youtube.
Thanks to social medias, he became a really famous deep house artist, which gave him the possibility to play alongside great artists such as Sam Feldt, Claptone, Henri PFR, Ummet Ozcan, or Gamper & Dadoni. In December 2015, the multinational firm Google contacted him to use his musical work "What I Want" (created in collaboration with Ofenbach) on its ad "La Nuit Vous Appartient". This track was played by Robin Schulz, Lost Frequencies, Kungs... and even playlisted by the famous astronaut Thomas Pesquet. Confirmation of this triumph looks certain with the release of his first album, Crossroads, out on May 26, 2017.
