Their follow-up single, “Strange Clouds,” features a production credit from Nothing but Thieves’ guitar player, Dom Craik. It’s a good-vibe tune that is reminiscent of The Gorillaz meets Empire of the Sun with a Milky Chance style hook. Singer / Songwriter Clay Borrell says the track is “about falling in love with someone you weren’t supposed to. Not that they aren’t right for you, more that you weren’t expecting it. It’s about wanting to make a relationship work that intrinsically wasn’t built to last. You want to work hard to make it last, because the person makes you truly happy.”
