After a short period studying in Córdoba and playing in blues bands, he moves to Sevilla (the capital city of Andalucia, South Spain) in 2010 to study with Fran Mazuelos. From that moment, his musical concept changes and takes dimensions totally unknown for him until then.
After playing in many different styles and with different bands, Luis gets interested in Jazz music, listening and playing the music of Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Pat Metheny and George Benson, among others.
In 2016 Luis creates his own project, Luis Casado Trio, where he plays his original compositions. In this project, he experiments with different musicians, and he finally records his first álbum as a leader in 2019. The album is titled Tiempo Present (Present Time) and feats Luis Casado on guitar, Joan Masana (Jorge Pardo, Tino di Geraldo) on the double bass and Manu Pinzón (Planeta Jondo) on the drums. The álbum is edited by Spanish record label Blue Asteroid Records.
