after having been born and badly educated in cornwall uk, john became a bass player in local bands and then escaped to london to become a STAR but became a hippy instead spending much forgotten time at various festivals and music venues.
being lucky he fell into a job at the rainbow theatre and rose to the dizzy heights of assistant stage manager and then went on the wings over europe tour. This led to an involvement with the grateful dead and then to a santana tour of europe.
being friendly and lucky he was taken back to california with santana and then worked briefly for the dead again before learning to be a light designer as which he worked for such as boz scaggs, van morrison, the tubes and (once only) stevie wonder !
being friendly, lucky and tired he returned to england in the late 70's to have children, sail and concentrate on his own music.
after about 20 local bands as bass or guitar player john WENT SOLO, as they say and has, to date, put out 6 albums of mostly his own material with another on the way.
