The brainchild of composer, producer, and performer Johnathan Cooper, LA-based lovelesslust bridges the gap between rock band and art piece; the band’s industrial electronic sound coalesces with sinister original art that flanks the stage and a black and white visual motif that unites the musicians themselves with their art.
The band's rawly emotional stage presence is rounded out with guitarist/bassist Dana Wells and drummer Anders LaSource.
After years of cultivating 44 demo tracks, lovelesslust released their first fully produced record new album entitled THE CAR CRASH THAT ENDED HER LIFE CAME AS NO SURPRISE in 2016. Mixed by Amir Derakh (Julien-K, Orgy), the album incorporates the band's live energy, vocal harmonies, and lush strings into their synth-heavy sound.
One year after his passing, lovelesslust released a tribute cover of “Fashion” by David Bowie, premiering on PureVolume and quickly becoming one of the top stories of the week.
The band's newest release is a remix record called "And Her Actions Failed To Matter" featuring work by Chris Corner (IAMX, Sneaker Pimps), Jay Gordon (Orgy), Daniel Graves (Aesthetic Perfection), and SlikNik (featuring Christian Eigner of Depeche Mode), spinning their takes on lovelesslust originals.
