Sternlumen, Thomas Kudela, invites his audience into an experimental universe found somewhere in the intersection between jazz, minimalism and improvised modern classical.
With temperamental piano play and minimalist intensity Sternlumen draws the listener into a journey through the music.
In 2016 after a seven year break from music, the self titled come-back album Sternlumen was released. His current second album, Nørrebro Nights, is an homage to the neighborhood where he loves to live in.
He has shows in Iceland and New York as well as Denmark, Germany, UK, Sweden and Cuba on his resume. He played in prominent places such as Cafe OTO in London and the Jazzhouse Copenhagen.
"Sternlumen goes its own way with his music. I don't think that there is anyone else like Sternlumen in modern Danish music." - CAPAC magazine
