Brother (also known as Viva Brother) are a band from Slough, England. Consisting of drummer Frank Colucci, bassist Josh Ward, guitarist Sam Jackson and singer Lee Newell, the band formed in the late 2000s.
After signing with Geffen, Universal Records in 2010 the band went on to release debut album Famous First Words, produced by Stephen Street (Blur, The Smiths, Morrissey), which became a top 40 hit in the UK and Japan. With a string of successful world tours and festival appearances under their belt the band went straight into the studio to record their second album. On April fools day 2012 the band announced their surprise split after their short time in the spotlight. Nearly 7 years passed until the band announced the release of their second album and their return to the live circuit.
