His performance style has come together over a decade of testing bad ideas against audiences in Australia's roughest music pubs and warehouse parties. Highlights have included national supports for Birds Of Tokyo, the Big Day Out’s Lilyworld and opening for many of his heroes including Gary Numan, The Presets and Architecture In Helsinki. He’s collaborated with a wide range of artists including John Callaghan (Warp Records) and Malaysian popstar Ze Rebelle.
In 2012, he threw himself at the world of Fringe Festivals and found he stuck; a trail of sold-out shows, awards including an Adelaide Fringe Weekly Award (2015), Fringe World Best WA Cabaret Award (2013), a nomination for the first TO&ST Edinburgh Cabaret Award (2012) and five WAMi Awards. In 2016, he semi-accidentally became a bona fide viral sensation in Malaysia with a series of Malay language videos.
He is currently working his record label and TVOD "Netflix For Weirdos" service NORMAL PLACE., which launches around August 2019. His new album Chase! is out soon.
