Nolan Chapman, also known as Nolan The Ninja, is a 25-year old emcee & producer from Detroit, MI.
Hailing from the hometown of likes such as J. Dilla (Slum Village) & Eminem, Chapman has made a name for himself on Detroit’s local hip-hop scene. He first gained critical acclaim for his EP 'F*ck The Hype', which released in late 2015 on DJ Soko’s imprint Left Of Center. Since then, he has released a full-length debut LP titled 'He(art)' on Left Of Center with worldwide distribution by Fat Beats Records. The project was met with great reviews. Most notably, Rap Genius calling it a ‘masterpiece’ & giving it 95% rating. In addition to releases, Nolan has performed at several venues in various states such as Saint Andrews Hall, New York, The Majestic Theater, The Garden Theater, Atlanta (A3C), etc. He has also received co-signs from well-known underground hip-hop names such as Royce Da 5’9, Black Milk, Homeboy Sandman, Blu & more. Aside from co-signs, he has earned appearances & rotation on popular outlets such as New York’s HOT 97, Shade 45 (Sirius XM), Detroit Free Press, The Huffington Post, various college radio stations, etc. Ultimately, Nolan The Ninja is a promising placement within the genre of hip-hop.
