Having released their self-titled debut album in 2016 and a short two-track follow-up EP called ‘Sinner’s Lyric’ in the summer of 2017, The Remnant Waltz prepare for the new year by finishing the writing process of a set of new songs for their yet untitled second album and taking the new songs on the road as much as possible in the fall of 2017 and during 2018.
The Remnant Waltz was formed in March 2016 when four old friends decided to get back together and make some honest music again after a short absence of working together. The initial idea was to create songs that groove and hit hard at the same time as well as make music and perform as a group once again. With the debut album and new material written since then The Remnant Waltz has developed their own unique and definitely bluesy classic rock sound with songs that range from hard hitting hard rock to slower blues ballads and everything in between.
The lineup consists of Ville Siikamäki (vocals, harmonica), Teemu Kurki (guitars), Santeri Vauramo (bass) and Jussi Ruokolainen (drums, percussion).
