Xavier Darcy is a half-British, half-French Singer-Songwriter, currently based in Munich, Germany. He has appeared on one of Germany’s most popular late-night talk shows (Ina’s Nacht/ARD) and even had his own three-episode miniseries on national television (Startrampe/ARD).
His breakthrough single Cape of No Hope garnered widespread national radio play, pushing Xavier Darcy into the top 200 of the German Airplay Charts for the first time. In 2018, his song Jonah finished second in the running to represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest. His distinguishing characteristic is his instantly recognisable, powerful chest voice, which has drawn comparisons to Hozier and Jack White. This vocal style, matched with his aggressive guitar playing, marks Darcy out as one of the most anthemic singer-songwriters and energetic live performers out there.
